The Ranieri Suite takes its name from Cardinal Teodorico Ranieri (1235 – 1306), Camerlengo of the Santa Romana Church and Captain General of the Heritage Province in 1300, who built the palace of the same name with a medieval tower adjacent to Palazzo Piccolomini.
The bedroom is characterized by a splendid view of the courtyard of a convent and the church of San Giovanni Evangelista, one of the oldest in Orvieto which, like many churches on the cliff, seems to have been built on several pre-existing levels, each of these belonging to at different times
In addition to the suggestive views, the Ranieri suite boasts refined furnishings and a mezzanine with a spiral staircase that can accommodate an additional bed. The modern bathroom also features a comfortable designer jacuzzi.
