The Monaldeschi Suite enchants and captivates like a treasure chest full of gems. The double bedroom and bathroom are located inside an imposing medieval tower, whose austerity is mitigated by the lightness of the pastels of the historic frescoes on the vaulted ceiling, with the shield representing the Monaldeschi coat of arms in the centre.
It is said that the second sentence against Dante Alighieri was issued in this room by Ranieri di Zaccaria of Orvieto.
The suite is embellished by the adjacent Sala Ranieri (from the noble and prestigious House responsible for the construction of the palace of the same name, overlooking the main structure, from which the square in front also takes its name) which, in addition to being normally available to the guests of the room, can be used for meetings and events given its large dimensions (70 m2 and approximately 5 m high), the beauty of the wooden coffered ceiling and the splendid views.
